Sanibel-Captiva to celebrate the Fourth of July with fun, food and fireworks
Sanibel-Captiva is known for its fun and family-oriented Fourth of July celebrations, and this year appears to be no exception.  


Local legends Sam, left, and Francis Bailey will be the grand marshals for the 18th Annual Sanibel Fourth of July Parade.

Community honors art legend Robert Rauschenberg

Art icon and Captiva resident Bob Rauschenberg was loved and appreciated around the world, and about 400 of his family, friends and fans gathered at the Bob Rauschenberg Gallery and Barbara B. Mann Hall at Edison College on June 21 to celebrate the local legend’s life and art.

Run For Your Wife: Two wives equals split sides

The Schoolhouse Theater, located at 2200 Periwinkle Way, is presenting “Run for Your Wife” every Monday and Wednesday night at 7 p.m. until Aug. 13.


LCSO Golf Tournament to benefit Adopt-A-Family

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) Alpha District is ready to celebrate Christmas in July. On Saturday, July 5, they will host the inaugural Alpha District Golf Tournament to benefit the Lee County Sheriff’s Adopt-A-Family holiday program.
